This is a story of hope, friendship and redemption. This movie will surely move you. Tim Robbins plays Andy Dufrane, a young and successful banker who is wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of his wife and her lover. He is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Prison where he meets "Red" (Morgan Freeman). This film was released in 1994. Written and Directed by Frank Darabont. It is an adaptation of the Stephen King novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. Run-time: 142 minutes.
